Gear Review: Vasque Zephyr ST Boots

I am a casual hiker who enjoys snowshoeing. I needed hiking boots for summer trails and snowshoeing. For those who enjoy warm, dry, comfortable feet, the Vasque Zephyr ST boots are made for you.

Snowshoeing – I have worn the Vasque boots snowshoeing as far west as the Rocky Mountains and as far east at the White Mountains of Vermount. The Vasques are warm, dry, and light enough to equate snowshoeing to a walk in the park.

Hiking – The stability and comfort of the boots make it pleasing for my feet to hike the rugged Rocky Mountains. The Vasques are constructed using Vibram sole technology, permitting rough surface traction and self-cleaning performance. Although these Vasques were designed more for snowy and wet conditions, dry surface performance is excellent.

Everyday use – Given the comfort and support the Vasques provide, I find myself opting for the Vasques over my everyday shoes. The only caveat being the Thinsulate Insulation keep my feet quite toasty.

Overall, I am plesased with the performance, look, and feel of the Vasques. The Vasques are wearable staight out of the box with no break in, no leaks, and are very durable. I would recommend these boots to anyone.
