Mia Melon’s coveted coats were originally made for women and grew so popular that the demand was there for guys as well. Offering performance, urban colours and sleek cuts, Mia Melon jackets are head turners. I love that every season they keep designing the hood bigger and bigger, providing more protection for our locks in a flash downpour. This spring, Mia Melon will launch their first ever line of waterproof hoodies for both men and women.

Kickstarter is a campaign that helps companies get off the ground. They have set a platform to fund fresh and innovative ideas so the public gets the privilege of pre-purchasing products at a fraction of the price when they make a pledge and support a project before it reaches the deadline. It’s a way to both get in on cool new products at cheaper price while at the same time supporting local designers, artists and such.

The Mia Melon Spring 2015 Kickstarter campaign is currently in its final crunch to raise the funds required to head into production and launch these epic hoodies and add 15 more styles to their coat collection.
