La Ciaspolada: World Mountain Running Champion Victorious in Snowshoeing Debut

The Italian Dolomites played host to the 37th Edition of the La Ciaspolada Snowshoe Race. With 5,812 registrants, this race is by far the largest snowshoe race in the world and also served as the Italian Championships. The charming and picturesque location added to the lore of one of the most important international snowshoe races in the world.

Kamikaze Snowshoers Conquer Mount Myoko

The first annual Japan Trail Running Grand Prix, consisting of three snowshoe races across Japan, began on February 15th with the 11th edition of the All Japan Snowshoe Championships in Niigata Prefecture. International Amateur Snowshoe Racing Federation (IASSRF) delegate and United States Snowshoe Association (USSSA) member, Sylvester Coons, served as the tour leader for Tiger Global Athletics' Japan Expedition consisting of a week-long itinerary of snowshoeing, sightseeing, and cultural immersion.


U.S. Snowshoers Compete in Epic Italian Race

Many of the world's finest snowshoers gathered in the Italian Dolomites for the 36th edition of the La Ciaspolada Snowshoe Race. Set in the picturesque Val di Non of the Trentino Region, racers competed for prizes in excess of €11,000, or $15,000, and the title of Italian Snowshoe Champion.
